Renowned for its architectural heritage and vibrant cultural life, Milan serves as one of the landscape pilots within the Milan pilot, which focuses on reconnecting the city with its water heritage, a vital element of Milan’s identity that has gradually faded amid decades of urban growth and industrial transformation. At the heart of this effort is “ACQUA LAMBRO”, a project by the artistic duo gethan&myles, which explored new ways to engage citizens with the city’s waterways and to envision a more ecological and resilient urban future, but also IMMACHINARIUM, a community-based creative process that aims to reinterpret and build upon the conceptual and poetic framework introduced by gethan&myles in the ACQUA LAMBRO project.
