In an effort to raise awareness about the temperature challenges faced by Jerez de la Frontera (Spain) and to showcase innovative environmental solutions, Canal Sur Television recently aired a video documentary featuring the local association Emparados and the collaborative work with PALIMPSEST Jerez landscape pilot, led by Francisco José Pazos García, Sergio Rodríguez Estévez, and María Salas Mendoza Muro (NOMAD GARDEN), Valeria Reyes Soto (FUNDARTE) and the City Council of Jerez.

The PALIMPSEST Jerez Pilot, named “Songs of the Nearby Earth” (SONE), is based on the idea of  Estelle Julian of Culturama, orchestrated by PALIMPSEST local team  (Nomad Garden, FUNDARTE & Jerez City Council) and supported by local actors such as the FabLab Jerez, the Escuela de Arte y Superior de Diseño de Jerez (EASDJ), the Gresierra ceramics studio, the Centro Andaluz de Documentación del Flamenco, the González-Byass and the Tradición wineries and many other local stakeholders (Belenish, Lucía Franco, Claudia GR Moneo, J.M Coca and Willy Perez) who contribute with significant efforts to raise awareness and develop creative, sustainable, and culturally rooted solutions.
