-How can local and traditional knowledge be leveraged in order to foster sustainability and resilience?
– What are the ways in which cultural heritage contributes to societal well-being?
– Which are the challenges encountered when trying to ensure the uptake of research results in policy & how are they addressed at various scales?

On the 12th of September 2025, PALIMPSEST had the pleasure to participate in the ARCHE project final event entitled “Bridging Towards Resilient Cultural Heritage” which tackled these questions in a concrete panel discussion. Irene Bianchi from Politecnico di Milano participated in the roundtable along with the Margareth Hagen, Board Member, European Alliance for Social Sciences and Humanities, who moderated the session and Katarzyna Bałucka from Dębska, EIT Climate-KIC, Johanna Leissner from Fraunhofer-Gesellschaft, Jelena Kulušić from Dragodid Association, Croatia and Andreas Wiesand, from HERIWELL Project, who participated in the discussion.
